Summary: Slobodan Karagic, commander of the Red Berets special forces unit, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for war crimes against civilians in 1992 in the Doboj region. According to the verdict, Karagic was found guilty of raping two minors, as well as participating in the unlawful arrest and imprisonment of three Bosniak men in the summer of 1992.
