Summary: Sakib Mahmuljin, former commander of the Third Corps of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was sentenced to eight years in prison for crimes committed in Vozuca and Zavidovici in 1995. The verdict said that Mahmuljin failed to take necessary and reasonable measures to prevent the killings and inhumane treatment of prisoners of war, paramedics and civilians even though he knew or had reason to know that members of the El Mujahideen Squad, a group of Middle Eastern volunteer fighters who were subordinate to him, were preparing to commit crimes.
