Summary: Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian Nicolae Vintila, former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were sentenced to three years and two years in prison respectively for committing war crimes in the former Viktor Bubanj military barracks in Sarajevo. According to the verdict, they were guilty of the inhumane treatment of detained Serb civilians from June to November 1992. Avdovic was the de facto security commander of the military prison in the Viktor Bubanj barracks, while Vintila was a cook and then a guard at the same facility.
Besim Muderizovic was originally tried in this case, but passed away during the proceedings.
