Summary: Milan Lukic, former leader of the White Eagles or Avengers, a group of local Bosnian Serb paramilitaries in Visegrad, which worked with local police and military units to terrorise the Bosniak population, was sentenced to life imprisonment for persecution on political, racial and religious grounds, murder, inhumane acts and cruel treatment. Sredoje Lukic, a former member of the same group of Bosnian Serb paramilitaries in Visegrad, was convicted of the same crimes and sentenced to 27 years in prison.
