Summary: Marko Samardzija, former commander of the 3rd company of the Sanica Battalion within the 17th Light Infantry Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, was sentenced to seven years in prison for crimes against humanity committed in the Kljuc area in western Bosnia. He was found guilty of imprisonment and severe deprivation of liberty of Bosniak civilians in July 1992.
