Summary: The Bosnian state court sentenced Goran Viskovic to eight years in prison for crimes against humanity committed in Vlasenica and Milici in 1992 and 1993, accepting a plea agreement he reached with the prosecution. Taking into account the 18-year sentence that Viskovic was given in another case for a crime he committed in Vlasenica, the court decided on a combined sentence of 20 years in prison. Viskovic pleaded guilty to 20 counts of persecuting Bosniaks, with crimes including murder, aggravated deprivation of liberty and other inhumane acts, which he committed as a member of the Bosnian Serb Army’s military police.
