Summary: Fikret Planincic, a former Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina soldier, was sentenced eleven years in prison for committing war crimes in the Kotor Varos municipality in north-western Bosnia. According to the verdict, he was found guilty of killing nine Serb civilians and the attempted killing of another two in the village of Serdari on Septembar 17, 1992. Sead Menzil and Mirsad Vatrac, also former Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina soldiers, were acquited of the charges. Rasim Lisancic, another Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina ex-soldier, died before the trial ended.
