Summary: Darko Mrdja, a former member of a Bosnian Serb special police intervention squad in the town of Prijedor, was sentenced to 17 years in prison for murder and other inhumane acts. He was convicted of personally and directly participating in the guarding, escorting, shooting and killing of more than 200 unarmed men at Koricanske Stijene, along with the other members of the intervention squad.
