Summary: Momir Talic, a former officer with the Yugoslav People’s Army’s Fifth Corps in Banja Luka, died during his trial before the verdict was pronounced. He was indicted for genocide, complicity in genocide, persecutions; deportation, extermination, willful killing, torture, wanton destruction of cities, towns or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity, destruction or willful damage to religious institutions, and unlawful and wanton extensive destruction and appropriation of property not justified by military necessity.
