Summary: Stevan Peric, a former member of Serb Territorial Defence forces and a guard at an improvised detention centre in Berak, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for crimes against humanity and war crimes against the civilian population. He was convicted of being a part of group which was responsible for the murders, expulsion, imprisonment and torture of the local non-Serb population from September 1991 until the end of 1992.
