Summary: Simo Samardzija and Bozo Latinovic were sentenced to 20 years in prison, Milan Ikac to 13 years, Mihajlo Katalina to ten years, Sladjana Korda to eight years and Goran Mugosa to seven years for war crimes against civilians. They, all members of the Yugoslav People’s Army and different Serbian paramilitaries, were convicted of taking civilians to be executed, physical abuse and robbery in Vukovar, Stajicevo and Sremska Mitrovica in November and December 1991. At a retrial, Marko Kraguljac and Zoran Stankovic were given eight years in prison and Darko Fot five years for war crimes against civilians. The charges against the others were dropped.
