Summary: Milorad Lazic, Perica Djakovic, Nikola Vujnovic, Mirko Marunic and Nikola Konjevic, former members of the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina statelet’s police forces and the Yugoslav People’s Army, were found guilty of war crimes in the town of Medak in September 1991. Lazic, Djakovic and Konjevic were sentenced to eight years in prison, while Vujnovic and Marunic received six years of prison each for crimes against prisoners of war. Kupresanin was acquitted.
