Summary: Mile Mrksic, a former colonel in the Yugoslav People’s Army, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for violating the customs of war. He was convicted of rendering substantial practical assistance to Serb Territorial Defence and paramilitary forces at Ovcara farm, south-east of Vukovar, who killed a large number of Croats.
