Summary: The Higher Court in Podgorica sentenced Janko Janjic, Zoran Vukovic, Radomir Kovac, and Zoran Simovic to 20 years in jail each in absentia for the murder of three members of a Bosniak family on July 6, 1992 in the Piva River canyon near Pluzine. The fifth accused, Vidoje Golubovic, was sentenced to eight months in jail for not reporting the perpetrators of the crime. The five men were members of the Bosnian Serb Army’s Dragan Nikolic special unit.
