Summary: Dragan Mitrovic, a former member of the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina statelet’s police forces, and Zarko Milosevic, a former member of the Territorial Defence force, were sentenced to 15 and nine years in prison respectively for committing war crimes in Sotin in eastern Croatia. According to the verdict, they were guilty of killing 16 civilians in Sotin between October and December 1991. The three remaining defendants in the case – Dragan Loncar, Mirko Opacic, and Miroslav Milinkovic – were acquitted of the same charges.
