Summary: Nikola Stakor, a former member of the armed forces of the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina rebel statelet in Croatia, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for war crimes against civilians. He was convicted in absentia of shelling civilian objects in Karlovac, thus wounding civilians in May 1995. Dragan Kovacic was indicted for the same crime, but he died before the verdict was rendered.
